1. Who we are

Chautari Hub aggregates publicly available headlines, excerpts, and metadata from Nepali news outlets. We do not publish original reporting; every article links back to the source. References to "we", "our", or "Chautari Hub" mean the team operating the platform at chautarihub.com.

2. Using the service

• You must be at least 13 years old (or the legal age in your country) to create an account or interact with personalised features.
• You agree not to misuse the platform—for example, by attempting to breach security or copy content automatically using bots or scripts.
• You may save personal reading preferences and collections for your private use. You may not resell, republish, or repackage our feed without written consent.

3. Accounts & authentication

Keep your login credentials secure and notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access. We reserve the right to suspend accounts involved in abuse or automated copying of content.

4. Content ownership

• Original articles, photographs, audio, and video are owned by the publications that produced them. We display titles, excerpts, and thumbnails under fair-usage principles to direct traffic back to those outlets.
• If you are a publisher and believe we have misattributed or misrepresented your content, contact us with the URL and requested change. We respond promptly and will remove disputed items while we review the request.
• User-generated contributions (for example, feedback or optional profile details) belong to you. By submitting them you grant us a non-exclusive licence to store and use that material solely to operate the service.

5. Availability & changes

We aim for high uptime but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. Features may change, be discontinued, or launch in beta without notice. We will try to announce major updates in advance, especially if they affect saved data or pricing (Chautari Hub is currently free to use).

6. Disclaimer

The feed is provided "as is". While we curate reputable outlets, we do not fact-check every story and we do not endorse the opinions expressed by external publishers. Use your judgement when relying on information gathered through the platform.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Chautari Hub and its team will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. If we are found liable for any claim, the maximum aggregate liability will not exceed NPR 5,000.

8. Third-party links

We link to third-party websites. Once you leave Chautari Hub, their terms and privacy practices apply. We are not responsible for their content, advertising, or policies.

9. Termination

You may stop using Chautari Hub at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these terms or misuse the platform. Upon termination we may delete your account data from our active systems, though some records may remain in encrypted backups for a limited period.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the platform grows. We will change the "last updated" date above, and for significant revisions we will notify signed-in users or post a notice on the site. Continuing to use Chautari Hub after changes take effect means you accept the revised terms.
